In March 2025, Peru saw a significant increase in mandarin exports, with a total of 4,458 tons exported earning US$5.05 million. This represents a five-fold increase in volume and a four-fold increase in value compared to the same month in the previous year. The average price per kilogram was US$1.13. Fourteen companies were involved in the export process, with Consorcio de Productores de Fruta S.A. being the leading company. The Netherlands was the primary buyer, accounting for 55% of the exports, followed by Canada and the United Kingdom. DP World was the preferred choice for agricultural exporters, handling 74% of the mandarin exports.
