In the first two months of 2021, Ukraine imported 13.9 million heads of live poultry, a decrease of 0.4% from the same period in the previous year, according to the State Customs Service. Despite the decrease in imports, poultry prices have risen, leading to a 15% increase in import value compared to the same period in 2020. The top countries exporting poultry to Ukraine are Hungary, Poland, and Germany. However, Ukrainian poultry meat exports have seen a decrease of 16.8% in the first two months of 2021, with only 56.3 thousand tons being shipped abroad.
