Turkey's agricultural frost has caused significant damage to apricot trees, particularly in Malatya, leading to an estimated economic loss of 200 billion liras. The damage has resulted in a substantial export loss of $500 million and is expected to decrease the product volume in the coming years. Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, the president of the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has appealed for financial support, loan facilities, and debt postponement for farmers. He also highlighted the need for insurance coverage for the damage caused by agricultural frost.
