Honored foresters, mountain owners, and families of foresters. The year 2026 has dawned. I sincerely wish that this year, your families are filled with health and peace. I, on behalf of the Korean Forestry Owners' Federation and the Korean Professional Foresters Association, first extend deep gratitude to the foresters and mountain owners who have been protecting the forests, and to the families who have silently supported them. Furthermore, I express respect and gratitude to the Korea Forest Service and local government forestry officials who have shared the responsibility of the site, as well as to all those engaged in the forestry industry, including wood, forest products, forest recreation, and forest welfare.
