The Consumer Protection Agency in Egypt has conducted campaigns against rice mills, sugar, and salt stores in cooperation with Supply, Health, and Local Government departments. The campaigns led to the seizure of large quantities of unauthorized rice, rice without invoices, sugar of unknown origin, and unsuitable food salt. These campaigns are in line with the directives of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, aiming to control markets and rice mills and ensure the announcement of prices for consumers. Legal action will be taken against merchants who fail to declare prices.
