Vietnam has exported over 2.3 million tons of cassava and cassava products, earning more than 1 billion USD through November 2024, with China being the largest consumer. The average export price increased by 3.1% compared to the same period in 2023. Due to the harvest season, factories are receiving a higher supply of cassava, leading to a decrease in the purchase price of raw cassava tubers in certain regions. However, Chinese buyers are delaying their purchases, hoping to acquire new crop supplies from Southeast Asian countries.
