Egypt's wheat imports increased by about $299 million from the beginning of 2023 until July, reaching a total value of $2.096 billion. However, the overall value of raw material imports, including wheat, declined to $5.976 billion during the same period, compared to $7.376 billion in 2022. Additionally, soybean imports decreased by about $977 million and corn imports decreased by $469 million in the first seven months of 2023 compared to the previous year.
