The Activating the Use of Agricultural Lands in Manisa Project (TAKEP) has successfully distributed 3,100 kilograms of sorghum seeds to farmers in nine districts of Manisa, with the initiative receiving 75 percent grant support. This project aims to enhance the efficiency of agricultural land use and increase animal feed production in response to the challenges of reduced rainfall, declining underground water resources, and global drought conditions. By promoting the cultivation of drought-resistant crops like sorghum, TAKEP is striving to adapt to environmental changes and ensure the sustainability of agricultural practices. The seed distribution event saw the participation of key officials and beneficiaries, underscoring the collaborative effort to bolster local agriculture.
