The concept of a higher premium for young farmers has received a positive decision from the Monitoring Committee for the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for the years 2023-2027 (SPAC AP). We wrote at the end of October about the announcement by the Minister of Agriculture, Stefan Krajewski, regarding the increase of the current premium for young farmers from 200 thousand zł to 300 thousand zł. The increased aid is intended for young farmers who decide to engage in animal production. Now, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has informed that the Monitoring Committee for the SPAC AP has agreed to the change presented by Minister Krajewski, which allows the premium for young farmers to be raised to 300 thousand zł.
