60% of Bulgarian grain is exported through Varna

Traditionally, the Bulgarian export of grain and oilseeds is carried out mainly at the seaports, therefore a large part of the declared grain is located around Varna and Burgas all year round. The ports of Varna retain their dominant role in the share of exports compared to those of Burgas. Since the beginning of the season since July, Bulgaria has exported a total of 7.5 Mt of wheat, barley, corn, sunflower and rapeseed. 60% of the grain was exported through the ports of Varna, 33% through Burgas and only 7% through other ports and by land.
