754 tons of hazelnuts were exported from Düzce, Turkey in 2 months

In Duzce, which is one of the important centers of hazelnut production and provides a livelihood for thousands of families, 754 tons of hazelnut kernels were exported to EU countries in January and February.
Holding 70 percent of the world market for hazelnuts, Turkey exports hazelnuts to many countries in the world, especially to European countries. Hazelnut, which we rank first in the world in production and export, is produced by thousands of farmers in Turkey. In Düzce, which is one of the important places of hazelnut production, a total of 754 tons of hazelnut kernels were exported, of which 489 tons in January and 265 tons in February.
Last year, 20 thousand 299 tons and 35 kilos of hazelnut kernels were exported in Düzce.
