To the administrative center of China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region — the city of Yinchuan — 1,767 tons of flax seeds were delivered via the China-Central Asia railway route from Kazakhstan. The cargo crossed the China-Kazakhstan border through the Khorgos checkpoint and was directed in bonded mode to the southern cargo park of the Yinchuan Railway Logistics Center. Then, the seeds were swiftly transported by road to the comprehensive bonded zone of the city, where their further processing is planned. The resulting flax oil will be sold in the market of Yinchuan and nearby areas. The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is one of China's leading centers for the processing and consumption of flax seeds. According to industry estimates, the development of railway routes between China and Central Asian countries has reduced delivery times, lowered transportation costs, and ensured stable raw material supplies for agribusiness enterprises.
