The soybean market spent the week with virtually no major changes in prices, with quotes in Chicago remaining sideways in the face of an still undefined scenario. According to the Grão Direto platform, the monitoring of the heat wave that hit the Midwest of the United States generated some expectation about impacts on the crops, but recent reports did not bring sufficient factors to provoke advances. In Brazil, even with the slight decline in Chicago and the exchange rate pressured downwards, the export premiums helped to keep prices firm. The physical market operated at a moderate pace, and the focus of the agents is beginning to turn to the 2025/26 crop, reinforcing attention to the future season. In Chicago, the soybean contract for September 2025 ended the week quoted at US$ 10.37 per bushel, showing a slight increase of 0.1%, while the contract for March 2026 declined by 0.37%, closing at US$ 10.86 per bushel.
