Around thirty representatives from a Paraguayan project have visited the Provincial Administration of Jaén to learn about the potential and benefits of the olive and olive oil sector. The visit was received by Javier Perales, the deputy for Agriculture and Livestock, despite the provincial council not having direct powers in agriculture. The council signed a collaboration agreement with a Paraguayan municipality to transfer good practices in sustainable development. The project is also supported by the European Union and involves a Colombian town.
