A fruit processing and packaging workshop is preparing to open in the Batken District (Kyrgyzstan)

A new workshop for processing and packaging dried fruits will be commissioned in the village of Samarkandek in the Batken District (Kyrgyzstan), EastFruit reports. According to the enterprise's director Avazbek Jumagulov, the facility will wash, clean, package, and prepare fruits for export abroad. "We plan to package products according to international standards and send them to countries like Russia and Kazakhstan. Previously, I worked in this field abroad and know the market well. Since 2018, I have been processing local agricultural products in Kyrgyzstan," Jumagulov told the Kabar information agency. Construction of the facility began in 2021.
