The Kuban region in Russia, known for its leading grape cultivation, has achieved a record harvest of 280,000 tons. This is a significant increase compared to the previous year's harvest of 180,000 tons, marking a 1.55x increase. With more than 20 million decaliters of wine produced, the region fulfills nearly half of the country's wine demand. The expansion of vineyard areas, including a recent addition of 2,000 hectares four years ago, has played a crucial role in this achievement. The harvest is predominantly concentrated in the Temryuk region, with smaller contributions from Anapa, Novorossiysk, Krymsk, and Gelendzhik.
