About 20 wineries in Rio Negro have just brought up from the seabed the batches of bottles that they aged for 6 months. Thus ended the pilot test of the Submarine Cava Program, an initiative launched by the provincial government in the San Matías Gulf which, given the preliminary results, promises to continue. Three iron vats. 800 bottles of red, white, sparkling, young, and aged wines descended to 10 meters deep off the coast of Las Grutas in July of last year.
