Currently, there is an abundance of bluefish in fish stalls in Istanbul, causing its price to drop by 50%. Bluefish, which was previously sold for 200 liras, is now being sold for 100 liras. Anchovies are also abundant and are being sold for 75 liras per kilo, while other fish like horse mackerel and bonito are also attracting attention but with higher prices. Fishermen expect the price of bluefish to continue decreasing as horse mackerel becomes abundant in the future.
