Investments will go beyond the previously announced $75 million directed at the first stage of development of KGTML. AD Ports Group announced that Karachi Gateway Terminal Multipurpose Limited (KGTML, part of Noatum Ports) and Louis Dreyfus Company Pakistan have signed a long-term agreement for the construction and operation of a modern terminal for the transshipment and storage of bulk agricultural products in the port of Karachi, reports Emirates News Agency. KGTML is investing in the design and construction of a highly efficient food-grade terminal — with a transshipment system, conveyor line, infrastructure, and utilities. Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) has committed to providing supplies of dry agricultural products to the new facility.
