Agreement on business cooperation between Korea Food Promotion Institute and Gochang Food Industry Research Institute

The Korea Food Industry Cluster Promotion Agency (President Kim Deok-ho) and the Gochang Food Industry Research Institute (Director Park Saeng-gi) signed a business cooperation agreement on the 2nd for the joint utilization of black raspberry extract and the development of the functional food industry. They joined hands to promote the black raspberry extract industry in order to increase farmers' income through the high-value-added processing of domestic agricultural and food resources. According to the Korea Food Promotion Institute, the purpose of this agreement is to utilize black raspberry extract as an individually recognized functional ingredient, maintain and manage certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, cooperate in new product development, and promote the commercialization of technology transfer through joint equity consultation.
