The average price of agricultural land in Spain in 2024 is 10,248 euros per hectare, which represents an increase of 2.8% in current prices and 0.5% in constant prices compared to the previous year, according to the preliminary data from the Agricultural Land Price Survey published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Spain. This information confirms the growth trend of recent years, with a cumulative change of 13.8% since 2020. By autonomous regions, the Canary Islands remain the region with the highest price, 148,415 euros per hectare (€/ha), due to the high value of land intended for banana plantations, followed by the Murcia region (€33,180/ha). At the other end, the lowest prices are observed in the areas with non-irrigated cereals in Castilla y León (€5,115/ha) and Aragon (€5,175/ha).
