On July 26, 2021, agricultural prices in Vietnam saw an increase in coffee prices ranging from 36,800 VND/kg to 38,000 VND/kg across various provinces, despite a decrease in world market prices for both robusta and arabica coffee. Coffee exports in June 2021 reached over 128 thousand tons, valued at 248.6 million USD, with the average export price reaching a high of US$1,942/ton. Pepper prices ranged from 71,000 VND/kg to 75,000 VND/kg, and exports in June 2021 increased by 18.6% in volume and 23.8% in value compared to May 2021, reaching 33,150 tons valued at 118.7 million USD. However, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, especially the 4th wave, poses a threat to pepper exports in the future.
