Photo: Ronaldo SCHEMIDT / AFP The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries ordered the distribution of 18,383,836 tons of beef that will be exported to the United States this year, out of a total quota of 20,000 tons assigned by the US Department of Agriculture. The allocation, which follows parameters similar to those of the so-called "Hilton Quota" with the countries of the European Union (EU), was established in resolution 48/2023 published today in the Official Gazette.
