AGRICULTURE It was in January 2025 when the Ministry of Agriculture decreed the confinement of all poultry located in the Special Risk Zones due to avian flu contagion. In Galicia, this measure affected the breeders in a total of eleven municipalities who, since then, have kept their chickens indoors. The Official State Gazette has already published the order lifting this confinement, which also affects the birds located in the Special Surveillance Zones, where they were confined at the end of last November.
