The Ministry of Agriculture in Egypt has approved the export of honey bees to Saudi Arabia, following the orders of the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation. The first shipment has already been dispatched, with an electronic tracking system in place for future shipments. The bees have undergone necessary examinations to ensure they are disease-free and meet technical specifications. The new procedure aims to speed up procedures and ensure shipment safety, benefiting Egyptian bee exporters. The Arab Beekeepers Union has expressed gratitude for the development, which is expected to boost Egypt's bee exports.
