In 2020, Brazil's agribusiness exports reached $100.8 billion, marking the second highest value in the past decade with a 4.1% increase from the previous year. The country achieved a positive trade balance of $87.8 billion, led by soybeans which accounted for 28.3% of exports and saw a 9.6% increase in revenue from the previous year. Other significant exports included fresh beef, raw cane sugar, cellulose, and soybean meal. China was the top buyer, followed by the European Union and the United States. The report also highlighted the growth in exports of small and medium rural entrepreneurs, with tea, mate, and spices seeing a 14.1% increase, and dairy products showing a 32.8% increase.
