Agroclimatic outlook: northern winds, scarce rainfall, and strong incursion of polar air

The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BCBA) has prepared its weekly forecast covering the period from July 31 to August 6. At the beginning of the period, winds from the north will continue to blow, responsible for a significant increase in maximum temperatures, especially in the northern agricultural area. In this region, readings are expected to exceed 35°C, particularly in sectors of the northeast of the NOA, southern Misiones, northern Corrientes, and northern Santa Fe. Meanwhile, the center of the country will present temperatures within the average range (20 to 25°C), while in the south the values will remain below normal, with maximums below 15°C in western Cuyo and southeastern Buenos Aires.
