Mondoñedo will host a forum on agroecology focused on generational change on February 7 and 8. The event was presented at the Pazo de San Marcos, headquarters of the Lugo Provincial Council, by the Sindicato Labrego Galego (SLG), the driving force behind the meeting, and the Rural Environment area of the provincial government, which collaborates with the organization. The program will start on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with a visit to Bruno Botana's beef cattle agroecological project in Estelo (Mondoñedo). At 3:30 p.m., the seventh edition of the Foro Labrego de Agroecoloxía will begin. Isabel Vilalba Seivane, from the SLG, and Daniel García, provincial deputy for Rural Environment, Sea, and Youth, will open the colloquium. Following the initial welcome, the president of the GDR Terras de Miranda, Vidal Martínez Sierra, will speak. Then, around four in the afternoon, there will be a debate on "Generational change: current situation and political responses."
