Agroexport named the most promising markets for the export of pasta from the Russian Federation

The Agroexport Federal Center named 11 countries whose markets are most promising for the supply of pasta from the Russian Federation. Interfax reports this. According to a study conducted by the center, these are China, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, UAE, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, Georgia, Malaysia. In 2022, the largest volumes were supplied to Kazakhstan (23.9 thousand tons for $38.3 million), Belarus (20.5 thousand tons for $36.3 million), Georgia (13.4 thousand tons for $12.7 million). In total, last year the Russian Federation exported pasta worth $148 million, which was more than 30% higher than in 2021. As noted in the study, in physical terms exports decreased slightly, which indicates an increase in supplies of products from a higher price segment. According to the forecast, in 2025, compared to 2022, supplies of pasta to Belarus may increase by 1.8 thousand tons (by $2.8 million).
