Aguascalientes has produced 8,842 tons of broccoli in the recent autumn-winter cycle across 496 hectares, as reported by the State's Secretary of Rural and Agribusiness Development, Miguel Muñoz de la Torre. The crop, valued at 32.8 million pesos, was grown by 198 farmers and has been harvested in various municipalities. The crop is not only consumed locally and regionally but also exported to the United States, with farmers using advanced practices and technology like drip irrigation systems. The increase in broccoli production is attributed to its numerous health benefits, making it a popular choice for those following a healthy diet.
