During Peruvian President Dina Boluarte's state visit to China, both nations agreed to update the phytosanitary protocol for exporting Peruvian table grapes, now permitting air shipments to enhance freshness. Peruvian Agriculture Minister Ángel Manero emphasized that this will cater to a market segment valuing high-quality grapes. Additionally, the visit initiated export protocols for Peruvian beef, pork, fresh pomegranates, and pecans to China, with significant progress in their approval processes.
