Lắk Agricultural Promotion Station in collaboration with TCBiotech Global Joint Stock Company has just held a seminar to evaluate the model of producing sweet potato tissue culture seedlings.

The seminar was held in Dak Po Village (Dak Lak). At the seminar, technical staff and enterprises introduced the process of producing sweet potato seeds using tissue culture methods, creating disease-free, uniform seeds with good adaptability to the soil conditions of Lak District. The model was deployed over an area of 1.5 acres with the participation of a local household. Many households evaluated the sweet potato seeds in the growth model as healthy, uniform, with a high survival rate and prospects for superior yield compared to traditional varieties. A representative from the Lak Agricultural Extension Station assessed that the model not only helps to actively source quality seeds but also opens up opportunities for wider dissemination within the area, contributing to higher economic efficiency and directing towards more modern, sustainable production methods.
