The Farmers Syndicate in Sharqia, led by Izzat Al-Aydi, is encouraging farmers to increase wheat production amidst the global food crisis caused by the Russia-Ukraine war. The syndicate aims to provide subsidized bread for the citizens, tapping into the patriotism of Egyptian farmers. The government is planning to remove obstacles in the supply process and provide facilities for farmers. In incentive, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has decided to pay an exceptional incentive of 65 pounds for each ardeb of wheat, increasing the total price for supplying an ardeb to 865-885 pounds depending on the cleanliness of the wheat.
