The Algerian State Confederation of Grain Services (OAIC) announced an international tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of feed barley of optional origin, international news agencies reported. Bids for participation in the tender are accepted until today, February 3, and the delivery of the barley to the ports of Algeria is scheduled for the period March 1-15. At the last successful tender for the import of feed barley in Algeria, held at the end of November, at least 50,000 tons were purchased again at prices between $263 and $264.50 per ton C&F. In the meantime, Jordan's Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply traditionally scheduled the regular weekly tender for the import of 120,000 tons of feed barley of optional origin for Wednesday, February 4. The delivery of the grain is planned for March and April.
