The Algerian state company OAIC at a tender on October 23 purchased about 600,000 tons of soft wheat of optional origin at a price of $258.5/ton C&F, reports Reuters. Traders believe that most of the wheat will be supplied from the Black Sea region (Romania, Bulgaria, and Ukraine), but they do not rule out supplies from Argentina, although it is still too early to load the new harvest from the country in November and December.
