Between 2022 and 2023, the number of agribusiness-focused startups in Brazil grew by 15%, reaching almost 2,000. The majority of these startups are located in the Southeast and South regions, with the city of São Paulo hosting the largest concentration. For the first time in 2023, startups operating "on the farm" outnumbered those operating "after the farm". These startups offer a variety of services, including laboratory analysis, and some use satellite images and artificial intelligence to facilitate agricultural financing and improve agricultural management.
