Almonds fell in price in Moldova but the price level is still high

From mid-December to the present moment in Moldova, the average wholesale price for inshell almonds dropped by 5 lei / kg - to 170 lei / kg ($ 9.71 / kg). However, the price is still slightly higher than the December level last year (160 lei / kg, $ 9.2 / kg). At first glance, the situation seems strange if we take into account the fact that prices for all other nut crops, especially walnuts, have been growing for more than a month and are at almost record levels.
