Alpaca fine hair export grows: reached US$ 114 million in 2025

(Agraria.pe) During the 12 months of 2025, Peru exported 5,729,812 kilos of fine alpaca hair with an FOB value of US$ 114,185,398. These figures mark a significant increase compared to the 5,520,204 kilos exported in 2024 for US$ 102,218,471. According to information from the consultancy Agrodata, the main destination for these shipments in 2025 was China, where placements reached US$ 60,657,000.
