Alperia, agreement for the supply of biomethane to Loacker group

Thanks to one of the first Biomethane Purchase Agreements (BPA) formalized in Italy, Alperia will supply 2 million standard cubic meters (smc) of biomethane per year to Dolomites Milk, a company of the Loacker Spa group; Bio Energie di San Lorenzo di Sebato (BZ) is also involved in the agreement, as a producer of biomethane. The long-term agreement for the supply of biomethane to Dolomites Milk marks a step forward for sustainability, the circular economy, and the decarbonization of the agri-food supply chain in South Tyrol, reinforcing Alperia's role as a leading actor in the energy transition: the South Tyrolean company supplied is a producer of whey and powdered milk for international brands in the food sector.
