Alternative development cacao conquers national and international markets

(Agraria.pe) Lima was the venue for the XVI Salon of Cocoa and Chocolate, an event that brought together the best of national production. In this edition, cocoa organizations from ten departments participated with the assistance of the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), generating a commercial projection of S/ 43,273,292.70. This consolidates cocoa, one of the pillars of the alternative development promoted by Devida, as a profitable product, so that more families can transition to a lawful life and disconnect from drug trafficking. This result demonstrates the strengthening of the technical assistance provided by Devida, which today achieves greater commercial results with direct sales totaling S/138,832.
