According to the Vietnam Coffee – Cocoa Association (Vicofa), during a recent visit and work with the Specialty Coffee Association of America, American importers showed great interest and desire to expand the import of Vietnamese specialty coffee into their market. Among them, American roasters are particularly interested in Vietnam's Robusta coffee line. Indicators over the past two years show that the U.S. is trending towards using specialty Robusta coffee alongside traditional Arabica. Americans are increasingly interested in the flavor of Robusta coffee and are seeking new, unique experiences.
