As temperatures rapidly rise again after the heavy rainfall, aquaculture farmers are unable to relax their vigilance, worried about potentially experiencing the worst high-water temperature damage similar to last year. In response, the Agricultural Policy Insurance Finance Corporation (hereinafter referred to as APIF) is intensively conducting farm inspections and spreading high-water temperature response guidelines. This year, the high-water temperature preliminary alert was issued approximately one week earlier than last year (July 11). Although the nationwide heavy rain from the 16th slowed the water temperature rise, the subsequent heat wave has once again heightened concerns about high-water temperature damage.
