The Amur Region in Russia has seen an increase in its exports of soybeans and grains this year, with China, North and South Korea, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan as buyers. The governor of the region, Vasily Orlov, inspected a shipment of grain and soybeans for export and emphasized the potential for processing soybeans in the region. In 2022, the region harvested 1.6 million tons of soybeans, with 365 thousand tons being processed.
