In 2024, the Amur Region's agricultural enterprises achieved a record grain harvest of 650 thousand tons, an increase of 5% from the previous year, with yields improving from 32 to 36 centners per hectare. The region also saw significant production of soybeans, potatoes, and livestock products, marking a 3% increase in milk production. The second stage of a large dairy livestock complex and a young animal farm were also commissioned. Despite challenges, the Sodruzhestvo Group of Companies is building the largest soybean processing plant in the Far East, with another plant set to begin construction in the next year. Over the past five years, agriculture has contributed double to the region's GRP, achieving these feats without the use of foreign labor.
