Prices for Russian wheat with 12.5% protein for delivery in November-December decreased to $225-230/t FOB (-$4.5/t). American wheat dropped to $236/t (-$2/t), French wheat to $228/t (-$1/t). Prices for Ukrainian wheat with 11.5% protein increased to $230/t (+$1/t). The export price for Russian barley remained around $232/t FOB. Last week saw a series of tenders. On November 13, Tunisia purchased 125,000 tons of soft wheat (11.5% protein) at $257.86/t C&F and 100,000 tons of durum wheat. Converted to FOB Novorossiysk, the price for soft wheat was $222-226/t. On November 11, Jordan contracted for 60,000 tons of wheat at $262.5/t C&F for delivery in the first half of February. Converted to FOB Novorossiysk, the price was $226/t.
