The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) projected soybean shipments of 7.1 million tons in October, a 60.6% increase compared to the 4.43 million tons exported in the same month of 2024. The volume slightly exceeds that recorded in September, which was 6.97 million tons, indicating a continuation in the pace of the 2024/25 crop outflow, even with the inter-crop period of the oilseed. With the October shipments, Brazil is expected to surpass the mark of 102 million tons of soybeans exported for the year, approaching the projected record of 110 million tons in 2025. Anec highlighted that, until September, the country had already shipped 95.1 million tons of soybeans, practically the total of 2024, which was 97.3 million tons, and that the last two months of the year should add about 8 million tons, consolidating the historical record.
