The Sociedad de Criadores Aberdeen Angus del Uruguay (SCAU) participated for the third consecutive time in the Angus Convention in Kansas City (on the border of Kansas and Missouri), an event organized by the American Angus Association. The Uruguayan delegation was composed of the president of the SCAU, Ing. Agr. Juan Pablo Pérez Frontini, and the secretary, Dr. Diego Oribe. During the visit, ties were strengthened with the American Angus Association and its leaders, including J.P. Perry, John Stika, and Kelly Retallick. Additionally, they advanced joint projects and updated themselves on the latest developments in the association's programs, with new ideas to strengthen Angus Uruguay. Uruguay's presence at this important event adds to the World Forum in Australia (*) and the Anuga fair in Germany. In statements to the program Diario Rural (CX 4 Rural), Pérez Frontini said that the Angus Convention is an annual event with a rotating headquarters, this year being in Kansas City. ...
