The Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has initiated a special action to safeguard the quality and authenticity of spring tea geographical indications in the province from March 20 to May 31. The province, known for its tea production, hosts 39 spring tea geographical indications and 779 standard enterprises, with 17 indications nationally protected. The operation aims to regulate the use of special signs for these indications, crack down on counterfeiting and illegal activities, and ensure the quality and characteristics of the indicated tea varieties. The action will also strengthen the protection of geographical indication products, enforce the rights of users, and improve the mechanism for joint protection and investigation of spring tea geographical indications.
