China: Anhui's special action to protect spring tea geographical indication varieties

Spring is an important season for tea production and sales. The Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has deployed from March 20 to May 31 to carry out special actions for the protection of spring tea geographical indications across the province, regulate the use of special signs for spring tea geographical indications, and crack down on Infringement and counterfeiting and other illegal activities ensure the quality and characteristics of spring tea geographical indication varieties. Our province is a major tea province. At present, there are 39 spring tea geographical indications in the province and 779 standard enterprises.
