The General Administration of Market Supervision in China has conducted random inspections of 19 categories of food, resulting in the discovery of 7 batches of unqualified samples, primarily due to microbial contamination and excessive pesticide and veterinary drug residues. Specifically, an infant formula and edible agricultural products were found to be non-compliant with national food safety standards. The inspections covered a wide range of food products, including dairy, beverages, alcohol, baked goods, and more. Inspection agencies have imposed administrative penalties and fines on violating companies, and have been ordered to recall unqualified products and disclose their risk prevention and control measures to the public.
