Announcement of the results of the auction allocation session for the import tariff quota for sugar in 2025

In fulfillment of Vietnam's commitment at the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding the management of import tariff quotas, based on the authority granted under the Foreign Trade Management Law (2017), to implement the organization of the auction-based import tariff quota allocation for sugar in 2025, the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade signed and issued Decision No. 2560/QĐ-BCT dated September 15, 2025, on the quantity, timing, and method of allocating the import tariff quota for sugar in 2025 (whereby the quantity of the import tariff quota for sugar allocated through auction in 2025 is 133,000 tons) and Decision No. 2559/QĐ-BCT dated September 15, 2025, on the establishment of the Council for the allocation of the import tariff quota for sugar through auction in 2025.
